This policy explains what information Spray Tan Me collects when you use spraytan.me, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Spray Tan Me (spraytan.me) is operated by TyTech LLC, a Wyoming company. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean TyTech LLC. You can reach us about privacy at hello@spraytan.me or through our contact form.
Information we collect
When you browse the site
Like most websites, our hosting servers record basic technical information for every visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the referring page and the date and time. We use it to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies that keep you signed in if you have an account (for example, a business owner managing a listing) and that protect forms from abuse.
- Preference cookies that remember choices such as a name and email you’ve entered so you don’t have to type them again.
- Analytics cookies from Google and StatCounter, which tell us in aggregate how people find and use the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential features such as signing in may not work without them.
Clicks on listing contact buttons
When you click a button on a listing to call, text, visit a website or book with a business, we add one to a daily count for that listing and button. The count doesn’t include your IP address, cookies or anything else that identifies you. We use these counts to understand which listings are useful and to show businesses, in aggregate, how many leads Spray Tan Me sends them. Anything you share once you leave our site, such as on a phone call or a business’s booking page, is handled by that business under its own policies.
Contact form messages
When you send us a message, including a report about a listing or a privacy request, we collect your name, email address, the reason you picked, the listing it’s about (if any) and your message. We use it to reply and to fix listings.
Email signups
If you sign up for our emails or a guide download, we collect your email address, where on the site you signed up and the date. We use it to send you the emails you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Your address is stored on our own site or a trusted third-party provider.
Reviews and ratings
To leave a review you create a free account with a username, email address and password. With each review we keep your display name, rating, review text and the date, plus your IP address and browser details to help stop spam. Reviews are checked before they appear. Your display name, rating, review and the date are published on the listing for anyone to see. Your email address is never published. We use it to confirm the review is genuine and to contact you about it if needed.
Business listings and accounts
If you list or claim a business, we collect the business details you submit (such as its name, address, phone, website, photos, services and prices) and, for your account, your name, email address and password. Business details are published in the directory. Account details are not.
Payments
If you buy a paid or featured listing, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment and limited details such as the amount, date and the last four digits of the card, but we never see or store your full card number.
Third-party services
Some features rely on other companies, which receive basic technical information such as your IP address when the feature loads:
- Maps on listing and location pages load map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Business addresses may be looked up with OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service to place them on the map.
- Payments are processed by Stripe.
How we use information
We use the information above to run and improve the directory, keep listings accurate, reply to you, send emails you’ve asked for, publish reviews, process payments, report aggregate lead counts to businesses, and prevent spam, fraud and abuse. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How we share information
We share information only with the service providers listed above, who work on our behalf; with a business when you ask us to (for example, when we pass a correction to the business it’s about); when the law requires it; or as part of a sale or merger of the site, in which case this policy continues to apply. Information you choose to publish, such as a review or a business listing, is public.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for up to 12 months after we’ve resolved them, email signups until you unsubscribe, reviews and listings for as long as they’re published, and daily click counts for as long as the listing is on the site. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host. We may keep some records longer if the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, ask us to remove a review you wrote, and update or remove a business listing you manage. Depending on where you live, including in California and other US states with privacy laws, you may also have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or sharing (we don’t sell or share it). To make a request, contact us or email hello@spraytan.me. We’ll verify your request using the email address you gave us and respond within the time the law allows. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
Spray Tan Me is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to our systems, to protect your information. No website is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll give more prominent notice, such as a notice on the site or an email to subscribers.
